I know what some of the plans are as I met the reps from Apple when they came to visit us.

Imagine if all smartphones had either a multi-user selector, or at the least a "child" mode that was easy to turn on.
I agree, a kiosk mode could be helpful. There is an app that will do this for jailbroken phones but it is not practical for the average user.
I also think that the ability to password protect photo albums should be included as a feature..

You could also either link to or copy the information from www.apple-history.com. It has the specs for (as far as I know) all old Apple products, but is seldom updated, so if we put everything here, then we would have a more up-to-date, all-in-one database.

1. One device that will work on both VZ and AT&T network
2. 32GB and 64G storage.
3. 1080P recording with 8 megapixel camera
4. A5 chip
5. Maybe higher ram or maybe not.
6. Throw in something new... like better gyroscope or something to just make iPhone 4 outdated, but nothing major.
This is BS. It's not good enough, apple.

It's nice to see that the banner from the Apple website is being replicated at the MW venue (assuming it isn't a fake), but it shouldn't been seen as an indication that 2007 is going to bring amazing products. Remember that apple has a track record of over-hyping itself.

Well, all I can is from my expierence, and I just ordered a MBP, and this is my first time buying a new mac.
I know a lot of *nix geeks like me are either taking a serious look at macs or have bought one. The intel change and bootcamp/virtualization possibility sealed the deal.

I just called a store in my area. They have 32 and 64GB but they said they can overnight ship me one with 16GB capacity!
Then I realized I am still not sure whether I really need one!!! :confused:

What about denying somebody a job because of their, say, intelligence? Charisma? Any number of things that are largely predetermined?
I used to work for a Major Music retailer and when interviewing people we always decided who would get the job based upon personality... If say we had 10 CV's these would already be the good CV's as the bad ones never got to the interview stage...
So out of the 10 candidates be they White, Black or Asian, Male or Female the one that got the job would be the one whom we felt would bring the most to the team.
IE would we like to spend time with this person outside of work as well as inside.

Well, for what it's worth, my white iPhone 4 fits the Mophie battery pack exactly the same as my black one does. Can't see any difference either. Well, except one is white.

Not so sure about this guy. Based on the picture, he seems to have that "deer staring at headlights" look that all M$ employees display, especially Ballmer.
First thing he's going to have to get used to is that once he comes up with an idea (and let's all hope it's an original one, considering the fact he's moving from Redmond), it won't be just barely good enough to foist on an unsuspecting public for decades.

I do find it funny that Microsoft continues to make the comparison via specs alone, when design is a huge factor too, especially when it comes to notebooks.
I can't say I've used every Windows notebook out there, but I've come across several that had absolutely loathsome designs. My MBP was out of comission for a week once and I borrowed my sister's HP laptop. Specwise they were probably about the same, but the trackpad on the HP was one of the worst things I had ever used. The laptop was also thicker and heavier than my MBP, and the screen hinge was a lot stiffer, meaning that it took a bit more effort to open it up when it wanted to use it.
If you compare pure specs, Apple does come off as more expensive. But the design I'm paying for is definitely worth the difference.

I wonder what this means for being able to install virtual servers on Parallels and the like?
For one thing it will be cheaper. Family Pack vs having to pay $500 per copy. I hope Apple doesn't cripple it.

Yes there are 140 things on that list out of the 500. Out of those 140 a lot of them are BS things, petty things that really don't matter or things he really doesn't have to do such as encourage things.
