Hi Sunny1000...Thanks for your reply and I have moved down a day and going to get in on Jun24th, that will get me 3 days...Just to be safe. I have read other threads with immig.voice and most of them are saying technically they can get in on last /Final Day of the Validity.

They can't do that they are asking to make a choice .Per them porting eb3 priority date is not possible. I am not sure what are legal issues involved in porting the priority date. I am asked to make a choice either EB3 04 OR eb2 06.

This is how they could have replied. They should have started a 10 Rs. Education cess on every McDonald burger sold and every Pepsi/Coke bottle sold and every pizza sold by pizza hut & Dominos. This is barely anything, as it is only what we see on the surface, other big corporation like Walmart and several defense contractors are also operating freely and feeling home. Indian govt. should start taxing them..
America teaches Swadeshi when it comes to America & Videshi when in Videsh, it is hypocrisy..

When it comes to shaking down foreign companies, the Indian govt. is way ahead of the US govt. The Indian govt is suing Vodafone for acquiring Orange and Kraft for acquiring Cadbury insisting that these companies should have done a tax deduction at source when buying these companies. Meaning that if Kraft bought Cadbury for $100mill, they should have paid only $70 mill and sent the $30 mill check to the govt.

Look it up, and you'll realize that any government in the world will shake anyone down for some extra money, not because it's right but BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!

I guess most of us dont want to take the pain of "mailing the letters"

How abt someone obtains online authorization to mail letters on members behalf.
I mean members authorize mailing a letter on their behalf by IV.
!?
Question is asked when they sign in... or login to the website!

Now hang on a minute there!

There are IV volunteers leading double/triple lives juggling full time jobs, families AND full time IV work and some members have the GALL to say that:

I dont want to take the pain of "mailing the letters"

Anyone giving this excuse has ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT from this point on to complain. This is as easy as the IV core can make it! Write those letters or SUFFER IN SILENCE

2. because this company has promised a job after getting the GC
3. What is the 1 1/2 yrs you are refering to?
4. I dont think you require LC to invoke AC21

If it is through your Spouse then do not have to worry? What was period of this of this work? If it is only this year some CPA can do magic

As I mentioned earlier, my case is family-based. I'm in F1 visa status so the 245 provision doesn't apply to me. The period of work is hard to calculate. Since I never actively participated in my own business, I don't recall ever working for more than a few hours each month.

I suppose the question boils down to this: Should I, or shouldn't I disclose my self employment to CIS?

If the fee is reduced then it will have impact on the number of personnel that USCIS can employ which inturn delays the whole application process. So rather with the fee let the USCIS have enough personnel to dispose of the cases.

And of course as mentioned above it is good idea that the attorneys take less fee so the burden is less on the applicant. And may be USCIS could simplify and come up with application procedures such that there is not much of an attorney intervention to comply with the law.

I recently renewed my license in Oklahoma and was surprised to find out that on top of shorter expiration date, now my license has “TEMPORARY” written across it. This is new rule that OK is applying for non-residents and non-citizens. Has any body else gone thru similar experience? I am outraged that now I will be discriminated every where. DL is used on day to day basis and every body will question me, suspect me as to why “TEMPORARY” is written on my DL. Even DL office was not sure when this new rule was implemented, how come police officers, general public will know about it. I feel ashamed to even show my DL now. I’ll get hard time getting loans etc b/c people will think I may move out any time as I am here “Temporarily”

I saw the pointer. In Oklahoma, lawmakers has taken a stand to mark DL with “TEMPORARY” to all non-citizens. They could have gived DL in different color to make it less harsh. It seems that this “TEMPORARY” marking will be even after getting GC, so this will remain for years and years to come.

As "imneedy" pointed, it is in NJ for the last few years, so we can expect this being done in other states.

Is there any change in layout expected after "real ID(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REAL_ID_Act)" implementation?

My PERM application requires experience as a 'systems analyst' in XYZ technology and i have experience/affidavit letters reflecting progressive experience in XYZ technology from last 7 years with minor difference in wording of job duties.

We are seeking EB2 classification based on "five years of progressively responsible experience", i also have certifications in XYZ technology from last 3 to 4 years (not before starting work in XYZ technology) but i'm not sure if including these will help/complicate the case.. Could you please advise..Also, please give any additional points to take care while filing 140 with EB2 classification based on "five years of progressively responsible experience".
